2. Database Engine & Connection Configuration
MySQL / MariaDB cPanel Recommended

SQLite (Local File)
Zero-config single file database in data/ folder. No MySQL credentials required.
cPanel Setup Steps: Open your cPanel > MySQL® Databases. Create a database (e.g. user_smartbill) and a database user (e.g. user_billadmin). Assign the user to the database with ALL PRIVILEGES. Then enter the details below.
3. Store & Administrator Setup
Default is admin123 (can be changed anytime in Settings).
Enterprise Security Notice:
The installer automatically saves database credentials to app/db_config.php with restricted permissions. Direct web access to database configuration and data files is blocked via protected .htaccess rules.
